The Team
Dr Kevin Naicker
BSc. MBChB (South Africa), FRACGP (Australia), Dip OH&S, CIME (ABIME), DAME (CASA), EMO and SMO (DNRME)
Dr Kevin completed a Bachelor of Science degree (Microbiology/Physiology) at the University of Durban-Westville. He graduated as a medical doctor at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine and practiced as a general practitioner in his own medical practice. He also worked as a Police Doctor in South Africa. He migrated to Australia in 2004 with his family. He completed his fellowship exam, in Australia and currently practices as a specialist GP. His main interest is Occupational health, dermatology, neuropharmacology and family health.
Dr Kevin has a very passionate interest in Occupational Health, he has extensive knowledge and expertise in the field, He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME), EMO and SMO for the Department of Resources, Mining, and Energy and also AMA for many other companies. He is also acknowledged by the Occupational Health and Safety unit in Brisbane.
Dr Kevin is also a member of the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME) and practices as a certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) performing independent medical and impairment evaluations. Independent medical examinations (IMEs) are an important component of workers’ compensation systems and are also used to clarify other disability or liability associated cases.
Travis Drummond
Bachelor of Exercise Science, Master of Physiotherapy
Travis has being with MDMP for the past 7 years and is welcomed by many patients. He has experience with both acute and chronic injuries. He was head physio for the Broadbeach Cats AFL team for 3 years, has worked in Occ health treating work injuries and designing return to work plans. He also has a special interest in treating TMD and Jaw related conditions. Travis believes the cornerstone to being a good physio is listening to his patient and working together to achieve their individual health goals
Toby Lord
Exercise Physiologist – FitInvest

Toby completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Business at Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2004. He is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and has over 12 years of clinical practice experience. Toby is registered as an allied health care provider with Medicare, Department of Veteran Affairs, Work Cover QLD and numerous private health funds.
Toby specialises in exercise prescription for the management of chronic and complex medical conditions such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. He believes that exercise is medicine and that movement is key to improving and maintaining health. He also assists with Occupational Health doing functional capacity evaluations.
